APUNTES PARA UNA HISTORIA DEL CINE EN EL ALTO RÍO NEGRO – VAUPÉS. FRONTERA COLOMBO-BRASILEÑA EN LA AMAZONIA, 1921-2006

Abstract

ResumenEste artículo ofrece los resultados de una exploración preliminar sobre la filmografía realizada en la región fronteriza del Alto Río Negro – Vaupés entre Colombia y Brasil. El área es una zona remota de ambos países, ocupada por más de una treintena de pueblos indígenas de tres familias lingüísticas que comparten elementos culturales. Sobre la región y los indígenas existen filmaciones desde las primeras décadas del siglo XX. El estudio ofrece un inventario e intenta hacer una caracterización preliminar de estos registros fílmicos.AbstractThis article offers the results of a preliminary exploration of filmography carried out in the Alto Río Negro - Vaupés border region between Colombia and Brazil. The area is a remote area of both countries, occupied by more than thirty indigenous peoples from three linguistic families who share cultural elements. Films have been filmed about the region and the indigenous people since the first decades of the 20th century. The study offers an inventory and tries to make a preliminary characterization of these filmic records.
