Abstract
Este artículo comprende dos temáticas muy importantes: la resiliencia y la violencia doméstica, donde ambas se interrelacionan a partir de factores protectores internos y externos de cada persona, pero también de cada la comunidad. Ser resiliente se refiere a valorarse a uno mismo, estableciendo metas posibles de alcanzar según su entorno, teniendo relaciones sociales fructíferas, y dimensionado los problemas y situaciones adversas, como ser la violencia doméstica -que en Bolivia es una de las mayores y más comunes formas de agresión hacia la mujer-. A lo largo de este artículo se verá como estos dos conceptos se relacionan, ya que siendo una persona más resilientes se puede disminuir los efectos y consecuencias de la violencia doméstica, a partir de la promoción del desarrollo de los pilares y componentes resilientes en la vida cotidiana de las personas. De igual forma, este artículo cobra importancia por el hecho de relacionar la teoría con la práctica institucional realizada en el Centro de Información y Desarrollo de la Mujer-CIDEM-; corroborando así, que es posible fomentar factores que protejan a las personas de las adversidades. This article includes two important subjects: resilience and domestic violence, where both interrelate from internal and external protective factors of every person, but also of every community. To be resilient means to value oneself, establishing possible goals to reach according to one´s surroundings, having fruitful social relationships, and determining the proportions of problems and adverse situations, such as, domestic violence - which in Bolivia is one of the greater and most common forms of aggression towards women. Throughout this article, it will be shown that these two concepts are related, since being a more resilient person, it is possible to diminish the effects and consequences of domestic violence, based on the development of pillars and resilient components in peoples daily lives. Furthermore, this article becomes even more important because it relates theory to the institutional practice in CIDEM (Information and Women´s Development Center) , corroborating the possibility to encourage factors that protect people from adversities.
