Las relaciones de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela con Japón: ¿Setenta años de espaldas a las necesidades del orden mundial?

Abstract

Con motivo del septuagesimo aniversario del inicio de las relaciones diplomaticas entre Venezuela y Japon se analizan los momentos mas importantes del intercambio diplomatico y economico en relacion con la orientacion internacionalista que han presentado nuestros gobiernos durante ese tiempo. Buscando contrastarlas con las sostenidas en torno al escenario mundial, en el contexto de la estructuracion de un nuevo orden. ?El objetivo? Enfatizar que dichas relaciones generalmente han estado alejadas de la dinamica de la politica internacional y que se hace imprescindible una reorientacion de dicha actitud en aras de construir un nuevo orden mundial mas justo y solidario. Abstract On the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Japan, the most important events of diplomatic and economic exchange related to the internationalist orientation exhibited by our governments during this time are tracked. These relationships are compared with those related to world affairs in the context of world order, in order to emphasize that the relationship between the two countries has generally been far removed from international political dynamics and to show that an attitude reorientation is fundamental in order to build a fairer and more viable new world order.
