ADOLESCENTES QUE NO GUSTAN A SUS PADRES
Abstract
Through reference to the literary figure of Don Juan this paper describes the relational bases of the parent-child clash in the family of origin, which leads to situations that are as common as they are worrying. The combination of harmonious marital functions with primarily deteriorated parental functions underlies the deprivations suffered by the adolescent which, when they develop into a pattern of rejection, disqualification and hyperprotection, give rise to the situation reflected in the paper's title. This is also the relational substrate required for subsequent borderline personality disorders.
