Abstract
Overview Study Area: Juntuma River basin and Sajama National Park geothermal zone (Bolivian Altiplano). Field Collection: March 2022. Analytical Methods: Major Anions: Ion Chromatography. Major Cations: Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. Laboratory: Institute of Chemical Research, Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA). This dataset contains hydrogeochemical data collected in March 2022 from the Juntuma River basin and the geothermal zones of Sajama National Park, Bolivian Altiplano. Major anions were determined by Ion Chromatography (IC), while major cations were analyzed using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) at the Institute of Chemical Research, Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA). IMPORTANT NOTE ON DATA OWNERSHIP AND USE This record corresponds to an undergraduate thesis developed using field and laboratory data that are part of a major doctoral research thesis entitled “Hydrogeochemistry and Spatial Distribution of Coexisting Geogenic Arsenic, Boron, and Lithium in the Lithium-Rich Endorheic Coipasa Salt Basin, Bolivian Altiplano” (KTH-UMSA), conducted by Lizangela Sofía Huallpara Lliully. The data presented in this work are not an independent dataset. Ownership of the original data corresponds to the doctoral research project and its principal researcher. These dataset represents the primary data collection for the doctoral research conducted by Huallpara, L. These data must not be reused, modified, or published independently without the explicit written authorization of the doctoral researcher. The complete analysis and interpretation of these data will be published in a peer-reviewed scientific article currently in preparation.
