The objective of this study is to determine floristic species of lianas in different plant communities in the central sector of the Imataca Forest Reserve as basic information for future ordination plans. Specimens were collected in study plots and journeys made between them. The botanical specimens collected were photographed, processed, and determined; a list of species, family and key species using vegetative characters was developed. 25 families, 37 genera and 44 species are reported. The Bignoniaceae, Leguminosae and Dilleniaceae families represent 12% of the dominant floristically, which grouped 45.5% of the species.
