La conciencia ambiental en los estudiantes de educación primaria pública

Abstract
Se estudiaron los niveles y características de conciencia ambiental en alumnos de educación pública, nivel primario; teniendo como paradigma el logro de la sostenibilidad del medioambiente. Estudio centrado en el nivel primario atendiendo que la conciencia ambiental debe ser promovida desde los primeros años de vida como garantía de su perdurabilidad, considerando al sector estatal porque aquí se ubican la mayoría de estudiantes y se experimenta mayor exclusión y marginación. Se realizó bajo enfoque cualitativo, mediante la revisión bibliográfica y documental de investigaciones sobre el surgimiento, desarrollo y consolidación de conciencia ambiental en alumnos de educación primaria. La técnica empleada fue la revisión crítica, analizando y sistematizando tesis y artículos científicos. Los criterios de inclusión fueron conciencia ambiental y educación primaria. Se concluye que la conciencia ambiental es fundamental para consolidar la educación y comportamiento ambiental de los ciudadanos pero que no tiene la trascendencia necesaria en el sistema educativo.
The levels and characteristics of environmental awareness in students of public education, primary level, were studied; having as a paradigm the achievement of environmental sustainability. The study focused on the primary level, considering that environmental awareness should be promoted from the first years of life as a guarantee of its durability, considering the state sector because this is where most of the students are located and where the greatest exclusion and marginalization are experienced. The study was carried out under a qualitative approach, by means of a bibliographic and documentary review of research on the emergence, development and consolidation of environmental awareness in primary school students. The technique used was critical review, analyzing and systematizing theses and scientific articles. The inclusion criteria were environmental awareness and primary education. It is concluded that environmental awareness is fundamental to consolidate the environmental education and behavior of citizens, but that it does not have the necessary transcendence in the educational system.
