Abstract
La gamificación en la educación ha surgido como una herramienta efectiva para mejorar las competencias digitales de los estudiantes mediante la integración de elementos de juego en entornos educativos. Se investigó la relación entre las estrategias de gamificación y el desarrollo de competencias digitales en estudiantes universitarios a través de un estudio descriptivo correlacional con una muestra de 93 estudiantes. Se utilizó dos cuestionarios validados como instrumento de medición. Se encontró una correlación positiva alta (Rho=0.776) entre las estrategias de gamificación y el desarrollo de competencias digitales, lo que indica una relación significativa entre el uso de la gamificación y el progreso en las habilidades digitales de los estudiantes. Se concluye, que la implementación de estrategias de gamificación en la enseñanza se relaciona con un incremento significativo en el desarrollo de habilidades digitales entre los estudiantes.
Gamification in education has emerged as an effective tool to improve students' digital competencies by integrating game elements into educational environments. The relationship between gamification strategies and the development of digital skills in university students was investigated through a descriptive correlational study with a sample of 93 students. Two validated questionnaires were used as measurement instruments. A high positive correlation (Rho=0.776) was found between gamification strategies and the development of digital skills, indicating a significant relationship between the use of gamification and progress in students' digital skills. It is concluded that the implementation of gamification strategies in teaching is related to a significant increase in the development of digital skills among students.
