In this paper, it is presented the description of a route to create a virtual newspaper, its rationale and structure. The online journal aims to disseminate experiences and knowledge focused on the chemical education, mainly focusing on the dialogue between the Secondary education and college education (face-to-face and virtual instruction). The design of the journal was based on a survey applied to high school professionals (Chemistry area) of the Secondary education. As a result of this survey research, judging by the indications of teachers interviewed, six sections were suggested: Editorial, News, Polls, Research, Photos and facts, and Opinions, to cover all the topics of chemistry teaching, with trans-, inter-and multidisciplinary approaches, considering the socio-cultural context of production and learning. Among other features, the purpose of this journal is to value, socialize and gather ideas and people around the ideal of education in this science, which is increasingly central.
