Abstract
Se presenta un resumen del informe de fauna silvestre referido al estado de conservación de los vertebrados en la Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa, en el marco de la realización del Plan de Manejo. Este estudio muestra que la Reserva es importante para el Sistema Nacional de Areas Protegidas debido a: comunidades animales particularmente frágiles; diversidad y composición de especies singulares; presencia de poblaciones con abundancias elevadas; y presencia de especies prioritarias para la conservación.
A summary of the report on the State of conservation of wild vertebrates is introduced referred to the State of conservation in the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna, as a contribution to the Management Plan. This study shows that the Reserve is important for the National System of Protected Areas due to: the presence of particularly fragüe communities; diversity and composition of important species; the presence of populations with high abundances; and the presence of species that are conservation priorities.
