| dc.description.abstract | In this paper we present a method, which has been denominated off/on-line, its objective is to calculate the reserve of resources (optimal bandwidth) in an ATM network, based on the characteristics of the traffic (MPEG-I video traces with category VBR), the characteristics of the network and certain parameters of quality of service: maximum delay between emitter and receiver and the cell loss rate in the transmission. | |
