La educación matemática. Su presencia y futuro en la universidad del zulia
Abstract
A partir de la necesidad de realizar una recuperación histórica de la educación matemática en Venezuela, se presenta una síntesis de la enseñanza de esta disciplina en la región zuliana, particularmente en el contexto de la universidad del Zulia. Para la recopilación y sistematización de la información se consideró cuatro referentes: el aspecto organizativo de la comunidad de educadores matemáticos, las actividades vinculadas a ella, los problemas educativos matemáticos o matemáticos que centraron el interés de los protagonistas y, por último, la manera de abordar dichos problemas.
From the need to perform a historical recovery of the Mathematical Education in Venezuela, one presents a synthesis of this discipline in the zulian region, particularly in the context of the University of the Zulia. For the infomation summary and systematizing, they were considered to be four modals: the organizational aspect of the math teachers community, the activities linked to them, the math educational or mathematical issues that centered the interest of the protagonists and, finally, the way of approaching the above mentioned issues.
