Temas Sociales: algunas notas en clave histórica
Abstract
Temas Sociales, la revista de la Carrera de Sociología de la Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, fundada en 1968, lleva 50 años de existencia, ha editado 42 números y ha publicado más de 400 artículos. Desde una revisión de la producción intelectual de la revista, el propósito de este artículo es identificar rasgos estructurales de la sociología en Bolivia a partir de un análisis centrado en su objeto de atención, los procedimientos metodológicos y las corrientes teóricas que la constituyeron en distintos momentos históricos.
Temas Sociales, the Journal of the Department of Sociology at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, founded in 1968, has been in existence for 50 years, has published 42 issues and more than 400 articles. On the basis of a review of the intellectual production in this Journal, the purpose of this article is to identify structural features of sociology in Bolivia based on an analysis centered on its object of attention, the methodological procedures and the theoretical currents that constituted it in different historical periods.
