Terapia Centrada en Soluciones y Adherencia al Tratamiento de Epilepsia Infantil en una Familia Aymara

Abstract

El objetivo es lograr la adherencia al tratamiento de epilepsia infantil dentro de una familia de origen aymara. La familia está motivada por las creencias culturales sobre la enfermedad y el dolor que obstaculizan el cuidado y apego hacia la paciente identificada. Se logro el objetivo primario de alcanzar la adherencia al tratamiento y mejorar la calidad en la familia e hija. La terapia condujo a la expresión de sentimientos, a entender el impacto de la enfermedad en la familia, al reconocimiento del rol de la cuidadora primaria de la madre y finamente a evaluar los factores personales, sociales, de la enfermedad y servicio de salud para lograr la adherencia al tratamiento.

The aim is to achieve adherence to treatment of childhood epilepsy within a family of Aymara origin. The family is motivated by cultural beliefs about illness and pain that hinder care and attachment to the identified patient. Achieving the primary objective is to achieve adherence to treatment and improve quality in family and child. The therapy led to the expression of feelings, to understand the impact of family illness and the recognition of the role of primary caregiver for mother and thinly assess personal, social, disease and health service to achieve adherence to treatment.
