In patients with prostheses, irreversible changes of the tissues that support the dentition, altering its functionality and favoring the colonization by Candida albicans. What is necessary, a readjustment of the tissue surface of the prosthesis is made, a tissue conditioner (AT) is used plus the prescription of antifungals, but these therapies have been compromised by the patient’s failure to comply. Therefore, the results of the combination of the antifungals (nystatin, borax honey and chitosan) combine each independently in an AT. A quasi-experimental research of descriptive type is carried out. For this, self-cured acrylic plates were made, which were brushed with the respective AT-antifungal system (AT-AF) (nystatin 0.1mg, borax honey 0.5ml, chitosan gel 0.5ml, chitosan powder 0, 1 mg and control without antifungal). The miscibility and adhesion between the AT-AF system and the acrylic plate is evaluated by direct observation and with a stereoscopic magnifying glass. Finally, the release in the medium of the UV-visible spectrophotometer was determined with the measurements at 0.5, 15, 60, 120, 1440 minutes. There was miscibility and adhesion in the evaluated systems. Note that groups A and C release AF in a sustained mannerin the different measurements, while in groups B and D it was progressive, presenting the cumulative peaks over time. It was concluded that TA functions as a vehicle to release the drug and a therapeutic option for polymedicated patients or patients with special needs in Candida albicans lesions.
