Representaciones pictóricas contemporáneas de la costa asturiana.

Abstract

The principal aim of this paper is to function as a showcase for contemporary painting that depicts Asturian littoral. This analysis is carried out based on a double reading, which not only includes the geography chosen for these images but also considers the coastal representation that bloomed on artworks. The ultimate purpose is to locate the interest of these landmarks, as well as understand approaches, styles and artistic languages that have been used to transfer those landscapes.
