La exclusión y subalternidad de los urus del lago Poopó están fundamentadas en procesos de discriminación histórica de larga duración, que se han mantenido, con diferentes características, hasta nuestros días. En este artículo, el autor presenta algunos de los hallazgos de una investigación que va más allá del grupo de estudio para plantear el problema irresuelto de la discriminación en la relación minorías y mayorías étnicas en Bolivia
The exclusion and subjugation of the uru people of lake Poopó is based on processes of long-term historical discrimination that have been maintained, with varying characteristics, up to the present day. In this article, the author presents some of the findings from an investigation which builds upon the findings of a study group to set out the unresolved problem of discrimination in relations between ethnic minorities and majorities in Bolivia
