dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to propose a management plan based on empowerment as a tool of optimization for educational administration. This work, quantitative, in the form of feasible project, was based on a field study, whose population was composed of fifty-three (53) teachers with administrative functions. As data collection technique was used the survey, and, as a tool, a questionnaire of thirty four (34) items proposed by a Likert scale of five (5) alternatives answers. Among the diagnostic findings highlighted several weaknesses in identifying the internal forces of the studied institution, although, occasionally, the principles of participation and organization of various school actors are promoted to foster dynamic and cooperative work. Similarly, it was found that no functions are delegated to all personnel of the institution, this in order to work more productivity.The previously described situations, served as the basis the design of the proposal which aims to promote empowerment as a tool of optimization for educational administration.
