dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is to analyze, according with theories about power, organizational changes, organizational capabilities, and the changes generated in the form of government of The Rosario University between 1974 and 1995. Starting of the fact that this form of government remained intact for more than three hundred years, it calls the attention how changes in the environment, characteristics of the organization and individuals that conform it, can move the organizations to begin processes that may modify their form of government, altering the distribution of the power and the roll of the actors in the scheme mentioned. These changes let The Rosario University to confront the exigencies of the environment and to conserve their capacity of governance.
