Introduction: The dental implant is designed to replace the missing root and to maintain the crown of the artificial tooth in place allowing its attachment to the bone. Immediate loading is a current technique in implantology defined as the placement of the prosthesis at the same time as the implant. However, the success rate is not clear for considering this technique as the choice at the time of a surgical intervention. The aim of this study is to show the effectiveness of immediate load implants. Methodology: A systematic search of 60 articles of no more than 10 years of publication through Pub Med, Google Scholar, Science Direct and BVS was performed. Results: Of the items selected in this review, 9 are systematic reviews, 37 clinical trials and 14 prospective studies. A total of 1,622 patients were analyzed with a number of 4,409 implants in an average of 30 months durability. Factors such as location affect implant success regardless of its location, the brand manufacturer, the material used and the diameter range being between 3mm - 4mm. Conclusions: Based on evidence, immediate loading dental implants are effective having a success rate of 92.04% with no long-term side effects.
