Abstract

Writing is a process that does not have an end, it strengthens through lifetime. In the University students need to acquire the required skills to produce a diversity of texts. To achieve it, is essential to get use to the terms of academic writing, critic reading and academic alphabetization, due to through knowledge of the real sense about reading and writing in the university field, it takes to the implementation of redaction skills. That is why; this article shows the personal reflection about the theme, through the theoretical feed of different authors, with the purpose to help the students to recognize the mistakes that they probably are making. Besides it offers some necessary tools at the moment of begin writing an academic writing.
