LA ESPERANZA RELACIONAL: UNA CONCEPCIÓN SISTÉMICA DE LA ESPERANZA COMO FACTOR DE CAMBIO TERAPÉUTICO EN TERAPIA BREVE

Abstract

La esperanza es considerada como un factor común y curativo en psicoterapia y con muchos beneficios en la salud en general, no obstante, su conceptualización es limitada y principalmente cognitiva e individual en la investigación de resultados y procesos en psicoterapia, y desde la terapia familiar hay escasos desarrollos, encontrándose como excepción el concepto de esperanza razonable, la cual incorpora la dimensión relacional, pero es limitada en algunos aspectos. Por lo tanto, se requiere ampliar la concepción del factor de cambio hacia una dimensión relacional, ya que en ella están implicadas variables contextuales, históricas y relacionales, enfatizando su carácter colaborativo. Por otra parte, la conceptualización de la relación terapeútica desde las prácticas clínicas post estructuralistas en terapia sistémica presenta coherencia, y desde estos mismos modelos y sus fundamentos teóricos, es posible ampliar la conceptualización de la esperanza hacia una dimensión colaborativa. En dichas prácticas mencionadas la esperanza relacional está presente formando un entramado con la relación terapeútica configurando un eje o núcleo de "Esperanza-relación", el que estaría al centro de los modelos breves de la tradición sistémica. Este trabajo es una revisión bibliográfica que se orienta a la elaboración conceptual y teórica, basándose tanto en artículos de los últimos años, aproximadamente 10 años, y textos básicos sobre el campo.

Hope is considered as a common and curative factor in psychotherapy and with many benefits in general health, however, its conceptualization is limited and mainly cognitive and individual in the investigation of results and processes in psychotherapy, and since family therapy there is few developments, finding the concept of reasonable hope, which incorporates the relational dimension, but is limited in some aspects. Therefore, it is necessary to broaden the conception of the change factor towards a relational dimension, since it involves contextual, historical and relational variables, emphasizing its collaborative nature. On the other hand, the conceptualization of the therapeutic relationship from the post-structuralist clinical practices in systemic therapy presents coherence, and from these same models and their theoretical foundations, it is possible to extend the conceptualization of hope towards a collaborative dimension. In these mentioned practices, relational hope is present forming a framework with the therapeutic relationship, configuring an axis or core of "Hope-relationship", which would be at the center of the brief models of the systemic tradition. This work is a bibliographical revision that is oriented to the conceptual and theoretical elaboration, being based as much on articles of the last years, approximately 10 years, and basic texts on the field.
