Abstract
Los problemas ambientales causados por la contaminación minera en Potosí han derivado en conflictos sociales no resueltos. En el presente artículo, la autora analiza la participación de diferentes actores y sus comportamientos, pero además alerta sobre la necesidad de acciones que permitan mitigar los altos riesgos a los que está expuesta la población.
The environmental problems caused by mining pollution in Potosí have led to unresolved social conflicts. In this article, the author analyses the involvement and behaviour of the different players in the conflict, and calls for action to be taken to deal with the serious health risks faced by local people.
