dc.description.abstract
Interested in discussing the accidental textual topography of a newspaper, the article proposes an analysis of the journal Meia Hora de Notícias, nationally known for humorous tone and the peculiar use it makes of the verb-visual resources on their front-pages. In this paper, four editions of the newspaper are analyzed in a critical study of the many elements of its verb-visuality. In a first approximation, we can see the pages and sections within the journal are not necessarily built with the the same expressive resources. This generates an interesting inflection, because it exposes some fractures that could reveal various ‘newspapers’ in the ‘same paper’.
