Abstract
Se desarrolla el tema del conflicto de enero de 2007, ocurrido en Cochabamba, a partir de una mirada distinta, puesto que no sólo se considera desde la descripción de los hechos sino también del enfoque otorgado por los medios de comunicación, principalmente de los periódicos locales Los Tiempos y Opinión, desde la experiencia vivida a través de ellos y de la opinión generada. Se reflexiona sobre dichos aspectos considerando la democracia y la participación como eje articulador.
The conflict topic of January in 2007 that occurred in Cochabamba develops from a different point of view since the description of the events is not the only one to be considered but also the approach given by the communication media, principally the local newspapers Los Tiempos and Opinion, from their liven experience and the resulting opinion. A reflection is made over these aspects considering democracy and participation as the articulating central idea.
