The various proposals that fall into what has been called contemporary dance,as well as the different languages of contemporary art, require a multidisciplinary dynamic look. The body of the interpreter is problematized and explores other problems. The ugly,as antinomian concept of beauty, is presented as a complex path: the asymmetrical, theatonic seizure bodies, diseased, abnormal, appear on the scene breaking or destroyingher body looks beautiful and virtuous even called the scene . We proceed in this paper tostudy the variations of the concept of ugly, from the text “Le formedel bello” by Remo Bodeiin 1995 and the concept of abnormal studied by Michel Foucault in his class 1974-1975and published posthumously. Both sources lead to some annotations to review various productions or dance video made in the West in recent decades that appear to come froma broad view of the body that includes the freak and always looking for a kind of movement ever made , a unique gesture that insists on freedom.
