dc.description.abstractA white light trap was placed in Carica papaya L. plantations, as Sisne, 2009 and MINAG, 1985 establishes, in the Citric Enterprise of Ciego de Ávila during the period between º May and July of 2010 with the objective of determining the composition of genus and species of the order Coleoptera family Scarabaeidae associated to the agroecosystem. The species. Cyclocephala cubana Chapin, Anomala calceata Chev. y Phyllophaga crenaticollis Blanch are associated to Carica papaya L. crops in these areas.
