Acute, chronic, and other difficult to heal open skin lesions represent a public health problem worldwide and in Venezuela, being among the first places of morbidity and mortality, with a tendency to remain in time, with a deficiency of resources and attention predominantly as Dry cure. The efficacy of the Natural Bioactive Purpose (ABN) versus the Conventional Dressing (CA) was studied in cutaneous healing. A randomized, double - blind experimental study (Phase III) was designed in the outpatient network of Merida - Venezuela. The results were analyzed using Epidat 3.1, we calculated the sample size (99% confidence). Significant differences were found in ABN in cure rates and their comparison variables, with no side effects, allowing good quality of life. It was concluded that the ABN in comparison with the CA possesses significant clinical - therapeutic benefits, being considered a tool of choice for curing of open cutaneous lesions.
