Integración Fronteriza en el MERCOSUR: Percepciones y Prácticas

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to contribute to the analysis of the role of subnational border regions in the integration processes; taking into account the framework of the transformations undergone by the international system and the Latin American political strategies to deal with its consequences. It is, in this sense, anattempt to offer some valorative elements to include the issue of region’s participation in the debate on the relationship between integration and development; placing the focus on the border areas of MERCOSUR.
