Y The Bananas and plantains are nutritional species of economic importance in Venezuela, and have been considered as nutriments national consumption. One of the main objectives of technologies applied to agriculture is to generate substantial increases in the production and/or efficiency of these soecies through new approaches, allowing the expansion of the seeded surface. The primary target of the investigation is Micropropagate plants of Musa spp. (var.manzano Banana AAB) from floral masculine meristems. This investigation was performed in six stages, using the medium of Murashige and Skoog MS in 1962 and Schenk and Hildebrandt SH in 1986, with different hormonal concentrations and conditions of culture. Stage I: establishment of apexes of masculine inflorescences of 1.1 cm in MS1-control. Stage II: induction of buds in modified MS (MS2) to two concentrations of bencilaminopurine (BAP: TI=1.5 and TII=3 mg l -1 ) and control (MS1). Stage III: expression of buds in the medium SH + 3.2 μM BAP (MS3). Stage IV: development and extension of buds in medium MS4 (+1,5 MS mg l -1 ANA). Stage V: rooting of offshoot in medium ½ MS+1 mg l -1 ANA (MS5). Stage VI: acclimatization of the plants. It was observed that in Musa spp. (Plantain var. Apple AAB) is possible to obtain masculine inflorescences. The induction of buds of offshoots took place in TI, TII and control. According to the statistical analysis there are significant differences between the control, TI and the treatments TI and TII, indicating that the presence of BAP in the medum is required to induceoffshoot buds.
