Análisis de los factores que determinan la demanda de reapertura del aeropuerto: caso Apiaguayki Tumpa Monteagudo.

Abstract
La investigación se desarrolló en el Municipio de Monteagudo, con el objetivo de analizar: ¿Cuáles son los factores que determinan la demanda para la reapertura del Aeropuerto Apiaguayki Tumpa? La construcción metodológica se orientó por el modelo epistémico del positivismo bajo un enfoque mixto, el tipo de estudio de la investigación es Descriptiva transversal, se aplicó la encuesta a 365 personas, se realizó la entrevista al Gerente Comercial de aerolínea BOA, con el apoyo de docentes y estudiantes de la Carrera de Ingeniería Comercial Monteagudo. Los resultados muestran que el 89% estaría dispuesto a pagar un precio justo fijado por la aerolínea. Sin embargo, el 86% espera una subvención del Estado en el pago del pasaje, la frecuencia de viajar una vez por semana es sólo el 5%, con una frecuencia mayor por viajar varias veces al año de 41%, los resultados muestran la dificultad de contar con vuelos de forma diaria. Se considera importante estimular el desarrollo del turismo con políticas públicas.
The research was conducted in the Municipality of Monteagudo, aiming to analyze the factors that determine demand for the reopening of the Apiaguayki Tumpa Airport. The methodological framework followed the epistemic model of positivism under a mixed-methods approach. The study employed a descriptive cross-sectional design. A survey was administered to 365 participants, and an interview was conducted with the Commercial Manager of BOA airline, supported by faculty members and students from the Monteagudo Commercial Engineering program. The results reveal that 89% of respondents would be willing to pay a fair price set by the airline. However, 86% expect a state subsidy for ticket costs. Only 5% reported traveling weekly, while 41% indicated a higher frequency of traveling several times a year, highlighting the challenge of maintaining daily flights. Stimulating tourism development through public policies is considered essential.
