La historiografía y la etnografía griegas en dos cronistas peruanos: Agustín de Zárate y Juan de Betanzos.

Abstract

Este trabajo es un intento de identificar los elementos del discurso historiografico antiguo, en tanto que constructo discursivo retorico y poetico, en la obra de dos Cronistas del siglo xvi que se ocuparon de la historia del Peru. Son ellos Agustin de Zarate, autor de una Historia del descubrimiento y conquista del Peru, y Juan de Betanzos, autor de la Suma y narracion de los Incas. Abstract The Greek historiography and ethnography in two Peruvian chroniclers: Agustin de Zarate and Juan de Betanzos. This paper is an attempt of identifying the elements of the ancient historiographical discourse, taken as rhetorical and poetical discursive construction, in the work of two Chronicle writers of the xvi Century who wrote about the History of Peru. They are Agustin de Zarate, author of a History of the Discover and Conquest of Peru, and Juan de Betanzos, author of the Summa and Narration of the Incas.
