Abstract
Una oportunidad histórica es la que tiene Bolivia, según el autor, para la reactivación de un sistema de información que observe con mayor detenimiento y sistematicidad las estadísticas agropecuarias y forestales de cara a promover un desarrollo rural efectivo de base campesina indígena. Esta oportunidad, relacionada a la ejecución del Censo de Población y Vivienda y el próximo Censo Agropecuario, viene ligada a importantes retos, como la generación e interpretación de datos con cualidad plurinacional y pluriterritorial
