Entre ansibles y pantallas: la programación del yo "En Proceso" de Andrea Chapela

Abstract

En este artículo se revisan los cruces narrativos entre la autoficción y la ciencia ficción en el cuento "En proceso" de Andrea Chapela. La construcción y pregunta por un yo adquiere matices interesantes cuando se refiere a una conciencia rescatada por una computadora. Los temas tradicionales de las escrituras del yo -la memoria, la escritura que combate el olvido, el recuento de vida, la verdad y la mentira, la muerte y la inmortalidad- se piensan en el marco de un relato escrito al modo de una autoficción, pero en el contexto de una sociedad hipertecnologizada que modifica la percepción de los sujetos así como la relación con el sí mismo.

This article reviews the narrative intersections between autofiction and science fiction in the story "En proceso" by Andrea Chapela. The construction and question about a self acquires interesting nuances when it refers to a consciousness rescued by a computer. The traditional themes of the writings of the self -memory, writing that combats oblivion, the retelling of life, truth and lies, death and immortality- are thought of within the framework of a story written in the manner of an autofiction, but in the context of a hypertechnological society that modifies the perception of the subjects as well as the relationship with the self.
