4. Conocimiento libre y educación emancipadora

Abstract

In this paper we study the relationship between the concept of free knowledge and education. We begin with an introduction to this concept, and its characterization from a man liberating point of view; also discussed the mediating and alienating role of education. From there, we explore the relationship of free knowledge to emancipatory educational forms of man. For that, we present the characteristics of an educational model based on the premise of free knowledge, and the rationality underlying this model, defining the facilitators for implementation. We conclude with a characterization of the relationship between the educational model and Web 2.0.
