Análisis bibliométrico del Journal Boliviano de Ciencias de 2019 a 2022

Abstract

In recent years, the Journal Boliviano de Ciencias (JBC) has implemented changes to improve its editorial process. In this sense, this study aims to present a bibliometric review of the last years published (2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022). The methodology consisted of the analysis of the database of the journal that includes title, keywords, specialty area, type of document, institution, number of authors and references per article. The results show that the published papers are of national and local scope, corresponding to the area of Civil engineering, for the most part; however, in recent years the international contribution has increased.
