Abstract
El artículo propone la adopción del ensayo como forma discursiva que expresa adecuadamente la tensión irresuelta entre la crisis de la modenidad cultural y política importada de Occidente y el planteamiento de una alternativa descolonizadora y desembarazada de la tradición historicista hegeliana.
This article posits the essay as a discursive form capable of expressing appropriately the unsolved tension between the crisis of present-day western cultural and political modernity, ant its de-colonizing alternative, free from the tradition set up by the perspective of Hegelian historicism.
