Abstract

Through the ethnohistorical method and some interdisciplinary theoretical approaches, it is posed to the emic perspective in which the authors testimony is immersed like a useful tool together with the other testimonies collected in an effort to analyze the historical processes that correspond to the musical movement of Metal in his city, Merida, what his origins and influences have been, his historical development and his reality in the present.
