Abstract
Se presenta la situación de las principales minas subterráneas chilenas y sus problemas de contaminación de aguas ácidas subterráneas asociadas a la operación. Se muestra un barrido de las principales tecnologías existentes para descontaminar y/o valorizar efluentes acuosos, algunas de las cuales han sido aplicadas en Chile. El trabajo concluye con una discusión y análisis de las tecnologías con mayor preponderancia y utilización y que por ende presentan mayor impacto futuro en el tratamiento de aguas ácidas mineras.
Summary The situation of the main Chilean underground mines and their problems of contamination of underground acid waters associated with the operation is presented. It shows a sweep of the main existing technologies to decontaminate and / or enhance aqueous effluents, some of which have been applied in Chile. The work concludes with a discussion and analysis of the technologies with greater preponderance and use and that therefore have greater future impact in the treatment of acid mining waters.
