Abstract

The activity carried out by the Andean Pastoral Institute since its foundation has favored all of us interested in the future of the Andean churches. Until now, this activity of the Pastoral Institute has been mainly concentrated in the field of religious-anthropology. The results of these valuable investigations have been appearing in the various publications of the I.P.A. Today another kind of research is missing. It is a matter of discovering the theology, which involved the evangelical message, when our peasant ecclesial communities of the Andes received the Christian faith.
