Detección de la mastitis subclínica mediante diferentes técnicas diagnostica en unidades bovinas

Abstract

The work was carried out in three dairy farms, (Self-consumption of the Santa Clara Livestock Company, Ofelia and Nina Bonita) of the state sector of the municipality of Santa Clara that have manual milking with support of the calf and the cows in production are mostly of the Siboney mestizo race with an average age of four years. A total of 568 milk samples were collected from each individual room of presumably healthy animals as established in Cuban Standard 78-25 (1987). According to the statistical results obtained, a positive correlation was evidenced between the California Mastitis Test (C.M.T) technique, in relation to the electrical conductivity tests, pH and salts, while no correlation was found between the C.M.T and the Redox Potential. There was a correlation between the values ​​of electrical conductivity and the salts, however, no correlation was found between the pH and Redox Potential values.
