Bibliography: Research in Urban History 1987-1988

Abstract

Preface: It is beyond the intended scope of this bibliography to provide a comprehensive compilation of urban history research for the years 1987-1988. Nonetheless, one could readily argue that this compilation is a fair representative sample of the international literature for these years, and, as such, an attempt to provide at least limited bibliographical control to a burgeoning interdisciplinary literature. Since Urban History Review is concerned with the historical evolution of urban Canada in a broad sense, an added effort has been made to include Canadian material.
