Abstract
El presente artículo desarrolla un acercamiento a la complejidad que implica la producción de conocimiento científico sobre los fenómenos sociales y para ello se consideran las diversas posiciones epistemológicas en tomo a las ciencias sociales y la comunicación. Las posturas de autores representativos permiten comprender y desglosar el tema.
