Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the main components of an education for peace. Its relevance stands out in a world full of confl icts in which is necessary to incorporate new elements in an educational practice that favors harmonic coexistence. Thus, an education for peace has as main components an education that involves international understanding, intercultural, development, multicultural, disarmament, human rights and, confl ict and disobedience. In conclusion, education for peace is based up the development of a world conscience that integrates planetary values
