Abstract
El artículo examina el contenido de varios relatos de Henry James que la crítica literaria suele denominar "cuentos de escritores" por tener como tema principal el oficio literario, para iluminar a la luz de su contenido la posición de Henry James como artista celebrado en la literatura anglosajona de fines del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX.
This article browses on a series of Henry James short stories on writers, as critics use tocall them, because they deal mainly with the literary trade. The purpose is to highlight James position on these issues, as a celebrated artist of Anglo-Saxon literature at the ends of XIXth century and the opening XXth century.
