Abstract
En la búsqueda de una ética para los tiempos actuales, el autor sostiene que es posible postular el cristianismo y el liberalismo como dos formas de actuar libres y correctas, pero en distintas esferas. La moral cristiana proporciona una comprensión del principio y el fin del hombre y el universo con base en la realidad de Jesús. El liberalismo provee de una certidumbre científica acerca de la mejor manera de organizar la sociedad y la economía, frente a las tentaciones totalitarias y socialistas, que a la larga llevan a mayor servidumbre a la humanidad.
In search of an ethic for modern times, the author argues that it is possible to postulate Christianity and liberalism are two ways to act as free and fair, but in different areas. Christian morality provides an understanding of the beginning and the end of man and the universe based on the reality of Jesus. Liberalism provides a scientific certainty about the best way of organizing society and the economy, against the totalitarian temptations and socialists, which ultimately lead to greater servitude to mankind.
