Abstract
La investigación tiene el objetivo de exponer tres experiencias de desarrollo económico local en el ámbito de América Latina, esto desde el punto de vista de la participación y el papel que juegan los actores locales en el desarrollo. Para ello, se considera tres países, Perú, Chile y Bolivia. A partir de los años ochenta cobra relevancia la participación de los actores locales en el desarrollo económico a través de las decisiones y ejecución de políticas locales. La concepción de participación, integración y promoción de iniciativas de desarrollo, se constituyen en una nueva alternativa para lograr el desarrollo económico local, sin dejar de lado las características de la globalización y los resultados que presupone el mismo. El análisis que se realiza es a partir de los datos e información existente para cada caso; una vez descritas las experiencias, se presentan las conclusiones de la investigación, haciendo especial referencia en la importancia y el papel que juegan tanto actores y agentes locales en el desarrollo local.
The research aims to present three local economic development experiences in the area of Latin America, this from the point of view of participation and the role of local actors in development. Since the eighties becomes relevant the participation of local stakeholders in economic development through the decisions making, and also the implementation of local policies. The concept of participation, integration and initiatives constitute a new alternative to achieve local economic development, without neglecting the characteristics of globalization and the outcomes it presupposes. The analysis is performed based on the existing data and information for each case. Once described the experience it will be presented the findings of the research, with a particular reference to the importance and the role of both; actors and local agents in the local development.
