Abstract
El poder masculino está interiorizado en la mente de los individuos desde que las sociedades han empezado a constituirse. Los derechos humanos no han respondido a las demandas de equidad de lo femenino, por eso ha sido necesaria la creación específica de los derechos humanos de las mujeres. Sin embargo, la realidad social está alejada del cumplimiento de estas normas. Una manera de mostrar esta situación es a través de la publicidad. Ésta muestra imágenes estereotipadas de la mujer, representando la vulneración existente de estos derechos en la sociedad. Este artículo reflexiona acerca de la conformación social del poder que ha ignorado históricamente los derechos de las mujeres
Masculine power is internalized in people's mind since the societies have begun to be formed. But human rights have not responded to the demands of equity of the feminine, due to it has been necessary to create specific human rights for women. However, the social reality is far away from follow these rules. One way to show this situation is trough advertising. It shows stereotyped images of women, representing existing violations of these rights in the society.
