Mujeres mineras y el trabajo minero itinerante en la Cooperativa Chorolque
Abstract
En este artículo se analiza el "trabajo minero itinerante" que realizan las mujeres de la Cooperativa Chorolque. Hasta hace algunos años las tareas en interior mina estabaí prohibidas a las mujeres, pero ahora es una práctica común. Las mujeres mineras, po diferentes factores, se desplazan de interior mina a la superficie o viceversa. Y es a partir di este desplazamiento que construyen dinámicas que las diferencian de sus pares varones.
This article analyses the "itinerant mining work" performed by women in the Chorolqu* Cooperative. Until a few years ago, women were banned from working inside the mine, but nov it is a common practice. For different reasons, women miners move from working inside th< mine to the surface, or vice versa. Based on these shifts in the location of their work, they buik dynamics that differentiate them from their male peers.
