PERIODISMO MULTIMEDIA: EL DISEÑO MULTIMEDIAL EN EL PERIODISMO DIGITAL BOLIVIANO

Abstract
El presente artículo presenta los principales resultados de una investigación científica que pretende determinar el diseño multimedial en el periodismo digital boliviano. Asimismo, se muestran los últimos adelantos en torno al objeto de estudio. El diseño multimedial en el periodismo digital es la forma en la que se presentan los contenidos periodísticos en cuanto a sus características multimediales, hipermediales e interactivas. El diseño multimedial en el periodismo digital boliviano está en una etapa experimental. La mayoría de los medios estudiados se limita en Internet a un simple "volcado" o "calcado" de contenidos impresos, radiofónicos o televisivos sobre el soporte digital. De ahí que los contenidos propuestos en estos medios no desarrollan adecuadamente los atributos del diseño multimedial. Por lo demás, el diseño multimedial en el periodismo digital boliviano sigue lejos de haber alcanzado una consolidación definitiva. No obstante, la creciente competencia entre las publicaciones periodísticas digitales ha significado una cierta evolución de carácter fundamentalmente instrumental que se refleja, sobre todo, en las posibilidades de administración documental, en la inclusión de videos y sonidos, y en las opciones de interactividad, tanto comunicativa como selectiva.
This article presents the main results of scientific research that aims to determine the multimedia design in Bolivia digital journalism. It also displayed the latest developments around the object of study. Multimedia design digital journalism is the way journalistic content is presented in terms of their multimedia, hypermedia and interactive features. Multimedia design in Bolivia digital journalism is in an experimental stage. Most media studied Internet is limited to a simple "dump" or "printed" print, radio or television content on digital media. Hence the proposed content in these media do not adequately develop the attributes of multimedia design. Moreover, the multimedia design in Bolivia digital journalism is still far from having reached a final consolidation. However, increasing competition among digital journalistic publications has meant a certain evolution of primarily instrumental reflected especially in the possibilities of documentary administration, including videos and sounds, and options interactivity, both communicative and selective.
